DISTRICTS AT BHARTIYA

Life at Bhartiya City is an elegant, easy flow from one world to another. Realms here are intertwined, so that you’re never far from everything that makes life wonderful. Lush, landscaped gardens seamlessly merge into futuristic homes. Barely a few steps on, the mall and retail space is a buzzing hive of activity that’s full of life and joy. Right next door is the creative-technology centre of the City, where successful careers are made in state-of-the-art office spaces. And that brings to us the neighbourhoods of paradise, linked by streetscape to a vibrant, sweeping waterfront promenade - the most ideal setting for community living.

District 1 features Nikoo Homes 1 and community components set within a lush landscape, linked by gardens, courtyards and sky links. It is an expo of future living and a model community for Bengaluru, set on a hilltop for excellent views of Bhartiya City. Districts 2 & 3 serve as the transit gateway to Bhartiya City. With Bhartiya Mall of Bengaluru, Bhartiya City Centre, Leela Hotel and Luxury Leela Residences, these districts are buzzing with life and charm. This lively centre will be located close to multi-modal transport interchange to maximise access to other parts of Bengaluru. District 6 comprises of Nikoo Homes II and the newly launched Nikoo homes IV. District 7 is the educational province with Chaman Bhartiya School.

A NOTE FROM THE MAYOR

What makes people happy? This is a question that has been with me for a long time.

Snehdeep Aggarwal

People make people happy. Family, friends, neighbours, even strangers. When you see something beautiful, it shows on your face. You want to pass on that feeling. Work makes people happy. Playing makes people happy. Pursuing passions makes people happy. Being in good health is critical to happiness. Good food, good music, places to come together. Discovering new things and experiences is right up there too.

Happiness is in the little things. Happiness isn’t momentary, it’s a state of being. Happiness is not an island. The more you are surrounded by happy people, the greater your chances of being happy. Happiness is a product of all those little things coming together to form a complete environment- an ecosystem. Year after year, papers speak of cities where the people are the happiest- cities like Vienna and Melbourne. These cities are able to provide the right ecosystems for happiness.

“For me and the brilliant team of architects and planners from around the world who shared this dream, it became our magnificent obsession.”

In 2008, I had the rare opportunity to create my idea of a perfect world – my City of Joy. For me and the brilliant team of architects and planners from around the world who shared this dream, it became our magnificent obsession. We had the privilege of learning from the world’s great cities, while avoiding the pitfalls of development that many of them are faced with today.

In 2012, after four years of obsessing over every conceivable detail, from a vacant patch of land emerged Bhartiya City. It’s the greatest joy I have known, and it gives me so much happiness to now share it with each and every one of its first citizens.
