Bhartiya City showcases at India Retail Forum 2018
Bhartiya City participated in the India Retail Forum held between 5-6th September 2018 at Renaissance Convention Centre, Mumbai.
India Retail Forum (IRF), established in 2004, is India’s premier annual event where retail brands learn, grow, shop and experience the future of retail and retail real estate in the world’s fastest growing market.IRF promises and presents an exclusive opportunity for everyone in attendance – from emerging retail brands to the key industry leaders – to meet and connect with the right set of people, over a course of two days.
This was the first time Bhartiya City showcased its City Centre, the future of shopping and entertainment. Arjun Aggarwal, MD; Bhartiya City Developers Pvt. Ltd. was invited as a speaker at the IRF Conference where he spoke about the concept of Bhartiya City, the City Centre and the future of retail. It was a privilege to be a part of India’s biggest retail congregation and interact directly from 200+ retail visionaries in 50+ sessions.
The City is built around a vibrant City Centre that is going to be the culture and trade hub of Bengaluru. It will provide a strong mix of F&B, entertainment, education centres, services for families and event spaces – in addition to the traditional retail shops which will make up a large portion of the tenants. The City Centre features a Shopping Centre, High Street, Ramblas- the indoor outdoor concept, a Convention Centre, Cinema, Celebration Square and Leela Hotel.
Spreading across 7.5 million sq. ft, featuring over 150 global brands, the Bhartiya City Centre will provide an experience where arts, culture, shopping, retail and entertainment will converge bringing thousands of people together from in and around Bhartiya City. It is designed with public spaces around the retail zone that will allow events throughout the year and act as a dynamic destination in the city of Bengaluru. From Santana Concert, music festivals to Urban Stampede Marathon, Bhartiya City is already emerging as a culture destination of Bengaluru, India.
The event was a great success and Bhartiya City did get a great response.
