Edinburgh International Science Festival at Bhartiya City

It was a splendid start to the 26th Edinburgh International Science Festival – the most exciting science festival in the world, in Bengaluru.

Inagurated by lighting of a lamp by the chief guests – Mr. Krishan Byre Gowda, Honorable Minister of Agriculture,State of Karnataka, Mr. Rajeev Gowda, Professor IIM Bangalore and Board Member Reserve Bank of India, Mr Ian Felton, Deputy High Commissioner of Britain to India, Mr. Rahul Johri, Sr vice-president & GM, Discovery Networks and Mr Snehdeep Aggarwal, Chairman of Bhartiya Group, the festival was thrown open to public.

The 10 day long festival promises to be a splendid affair to make Science fun, exciting and engaging for young minds. Building on Bhartiya City as a cultural hub, Edinburgh International Science Festival (EISF) brings 15 interactive workshops, live shows and exhibitions and experience zones for every age group in the fields of health, solar-power, astronomy and mathematics amongst others.

Very well attended by children and their parents alike, the Science Festival, a strategic initiative by Bhartiya City, has something for everyone. The festival introduces not only children but also their parents to the wonders of science through exhibits and experiences that cannot be seen or felt in a museum or a classroom environment.
